I did a thing today.

A totally crazy, absolutely crazy thing. I bought a condominium in New Hampshire.

My first love is Lake Winnipesaukee. It is where I summered as a kid, it is where I bought my first home, it is where I have a lot of great memories and some not so great ones too.

If I could do anything, I would flip houses. In this case, I will start an AirBNB. I am hoping that I am doing the right thing. I have passively been looking to find an investment property in the Lakes Region but over the past few years, the market has been crazy and I have lost out on several properties. I can think of numerous reasons why I shouldn’t have bought it; interest rates, the world is ending, etc. but I did it.

I am looking forward to sharing the transformation with all of you. I will start with simply sharing the beautiful sunset from my very small balcony. The condo came furnished and we all agreed with a few minor touches, we were ready to try and rent it. A week later, we have taken a perfectly good condo and have sort of gutted the place. We embraced the motto, lets do it right the first time. More to follow.
